In celebration of our 175th Anniversary, we are giving away $175 each month beginning in March through December of 2023.

Entering is easy! Every time you use your debit card for a qualifying purchase between March 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023, you'll be entered to win. One winner will be drawn each month at random and we will contact you through Facebook, by email, or by phone. See below for the complete set of rules.

NO PURCHASE, CHECKING ACCOUNT, DEBIT CARD, OR OBLIGATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. NON-PURCHASE ENTRIES AND PURCHASE ENTRIES HAVE AN EQUAL CHANCE OF WINNING.

SPONSOR: First Bank of Alabama, 120 North Street East, Talladega AL 35160.

ELIGIBILITY: The sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, 19 years of age and older as of March 1, 2023. There is no limit on number of entries per eligible customer during the entry period. Employees, directors and officers, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and their respective household members, whether or not related, of First Bank of Alabama and Bash Marketing Group are not eligible to enter. The drawing is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

TIMING/DESCRIPTION OF PRIZES: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01:00 AM CST on March 1, 2023 through 11:59:59 PM CST on December 31, 2023 (Promotion Period). Ten (10) prizes of $175 each will be awarded from a random drawing, one from each month in the promotion period, on the last day of the month from among all eligible entries received during the month of the drawing.  Eligible entries to include a First Bank of Alabama PIN or signature-based purchase using a First Bank of Alabama debit card processed through First bank of Alabama and manual paper entries received.  All federal, state, and local taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use of the prize are the sole responsibility of each winner. Prizes may not be transferred. One prize per person.  Prize will be paid by check, delivered by mail.

TO ENTER: There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes:  1) Automatic Entry: Entry for these drawings automatically occurs every time a customer of First Bank of Alabama makes a PIN or signature-based purchase processed through First Bank of Alabama during the Promotion Period with a debit card issued by First Bank of Alabama. In the event of a dispute as to who submitted a particular cardholder entry, such entry will be deemed to be submitted by the primary person in whose name the card used to enter the Sweepstakes was issued.  2)To enter by U.S. Mail without making a purchase: Hand-print your name, address, city, state, ZIP code, and daytime and evening telephone numbers (including area code) on a 3.5 card, and mail with postage affixed to: First Bank of Alabama, Swipe and Win 175 Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 797, Talladega, AL 35161. Each mail-in entry will count as one (1) entry into the drawing. Mail-in entries must be postmarked between March 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023. Entries that are mechanically reproduced, copied, illegible, incomplete, postage-due or inaccurate are void. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Incomplete entries or entries not complying with these Official Rules are subject to disqualification. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of delivery.

DETERMINATION OF WINNER: One potential winner will be selected each month in a random drawing from March 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023. The random drawings will be conducted by Bash Marketing Group. All decisions are final and binding on matters relating to this Sweepstakes. First Bank of Alabama will notify each monthly winner by a traceable method of delivery throughout the duration of the contest in or around the week following each drawing.  Sponsors inability to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable will result in such potential winner’s disqualification and the prize may be awarded to a potential alternate winner. Limit one (1) prize per person. The winner list will be posted on the First Bank of Alabama Facebook page.

ODDS: The actual odds of winning one of the ten (10) prizes are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements and release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless First Bank of Alabama, and their respective officers, directors, and employees, from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of their participation in the sweepstakes drawing. By accepting a prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name, photograph or likeness for advertising and promotional services without compensation. The name (and photograph, as applicable) of the prize winner may be posted in all branch locations and included in other informational resources and advertisements such as the banks website, digital signage, social media, etc.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: First Bank of Alabama is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any related materials. First Bank of Alabama reserves the right to cancel or modify the drawing if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the drawing as determined by First Bank of Alabama in its sole discretion. This drawing is governed by laws of the United States with venue in Alabama, for the resolution of all claims and disputes.
